Two of music's biggest names get married
One of music's biggest power couples, Jay-Z and Beyonce, got hitched.

Looks like his 'Big Pimpin' days might be over. People.com and numerous media outlets are reporting rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce Knowles got hitched over the weekend.
The two got a marriage licence in New York on April 1st, making most think it was a hoax. However, the two reportedly married on Friday April 4th in New York City in front of close friends and family.
I for one am happy to see a relationship in the entertainment world last for a change. I'm tired of the Britney Spears/Kevin Federline story and all the others. I give a lot of credit to Jay and Beyonce for keeping business business and their relationship private.
Jay is 38 and Beyonce is 26. They've been together for six years, so marriage was always rumored. Jay went right back to touring with Mary J. Blige a day after the wedding and the two are supposedly going to make it public in Houston, where Jay and Mary's "Heart of the City Tour" stops this week.
As far as careers go, Beyonce has got films and her third studio album in the works. A new Beyonce song, "Beautiful Nightmare" debuted last week. Jay has also been rumored to be working on his next studio album, "The Blueprint 3" says DJ Clue.
When you get the chance, check out the new Jay-Z mixtape "Big Time Gangsters," a mix featuring the Isley Brothers instrumentals with Jay-Z's "American Gangster" vocals. Congrats to Jay and Beyonce as well, even though there is no way they'll read this..
