On Tuesday, March 11th, rock hip-hop group N.E.R.D performed at Liberty Hall. Yes, I know this blog comes two days after the show, but I thought we were going to be able to post my pictures from the show-but sadly it won't allow us to. Anyways, N.E.R.D rocked Liberty Hall on Tuesday.

They got on stage at around 9:30 p.m. and stayed on until about 11 p.m. They were backed by an awesome band and went through some of their biggest hits, such as "Rock Star," "Lapdance," "Bobby James" and "She Wants To Move." Of course they did a slew of other fan favorites such as "Backseat Love," "Fly or Die," and a list of others.

Now if you haven't heard of N.E.R.D or don't know much about them, I would strongly suggest seeing them live. I actually believe they are better live than their studio albums. The songs are so much more raw and they bring a lot of energy to the show, which makes it a great time.

Last Friday, as I mentioned in a previous blog, I got the chance to interview Pharrell and Chad of the group. They are really friendly guys which gives me another reason to support these dudes. I was dissapointed with Liberty Hall because during my interview, Pharrell said I would be on a list to get backstage. His assistant called and confirmed this with me, yet Liberty Hall wouldn't allow it. They kept giving me different reasons why or basically brushing me off.

However, after the show I was able to meet them by their tour bus and was able to them to sign a copy of their album "Fly or Die" for me. So that was really cool in my eyes, seeing as how I've been a fan of the Neptunes since middle school and N.E.R.D since they came out.

N.E.R.D is finishing up their promo tour this month and then join Kanye West for his "Glow in the Dark" Tour. If you get the chance definitely check them out. It's well worth the money!
