The construction of the new football facilities have resulted in the cutting down of over 100 trees. The University plans to replace these lost trees by planting over 200 new ones.

Coach Mark Mangino said the football team will benefit greatly as a result of the new facility. In the past the team has lost practice time commuting between the stadium and practice facilities.

There is a promised $414,000 expected for landscaping replacement, $200,000 of which is to go towards tree replacement.
