The Interfraternity Council elected Stephen Iliff as its new vice president for risk management Tuesday night.

The general assembly of the IFC, composed of the president and one representative of each fraternity, elected the IIiff.

Iliff, Stilwell junior and Phi Kappa Psi member, will take over for Michael Pilshaw, who resigned from the position April 8. Pilshaw said in a previous interview that he could not do his job as risk management chairman after his fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta, was expelled from campus.

As risk management vice president, Iliff will check over party notification forms and make sure chapters comply with the joint-alcohol policy, said Scott Shorten, IFC President.

“I expect to uphold the duties of the vice president of risk management for the IFC,” Iliff said.

Iliff will serve a half-term until November.
