Professor memorialized

A Memorial service for former University of Kansas professor Philip “Flip” Kissam is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Swarthout Recital Hall in Murphy Hall, located north of Allen Fieldhouse.

Kissam came to the School of Law in 1973 and became a professor in 1977.

During his career, he was also a professor at the Duke School of Law, University of Vienna, Austria, and at the London Law Consortium, according to the Oread.

Kissam died on Dec. 23, 2004. He was 63 years old.
