Arm wrestling competition to be held at The Ranch

Students will have the opportunity to practice hand-to-hand combat Saturday.

Over The Top Entertainment presents the World Championship Armwrestling Lawrence Challenge at The Ranch, 2515 W. Sixth St.

For $10, male participants can compete in five weight divisions, and women can compete in two.

Weigh-ins are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The competition in the double-elimination tournament is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m.

The public can watch the event for free.

Winners will receive Olympic-style medallions for first, second and third place and a chance to qualify to appear on ESPN2.
