Kansas wins series with Texas

With a rain-delayed 2-1 victory against Texas this morning, Kansas guaranteed its first season-series victory against a ranked opponent since the formation of the Big 12 Conference, in 1997.

Kansas picked up a 5-2 victory on Friday to open the series. Texas is the No. 3-ranked team in the country and second in the Big 12.

The series finale is at noon, aired live by ESPNU. The game will be reaired, on tape delay, on ESPN2, at 6 p.m.
