Jayhawks Rush past Tech

Freshman guard Brandon Rush led the Kansas Jayhawks with 24 points and 11 rebounds as KU rolled 86-52 past the Red Raiders of Texas Tech.

Kansas outrebounded Tech by a huge margin, 46-22, and controlled the pace of the game from the opening tip-off. Texas Tech never led.

Sophomores Sasha Kaun and Darnell Jackson each added ten points. Kansas as a team shot 50 percent, 36-for-72. They were able to hold the Raiders to measly 36 percent shooting from the floor.

Coming into the game, Kansas led the nation in field goal percentage defense.

Sophomore Russell Robinson had an off night shooting just 2-for-12.

Jarrius Jackson led the Red Raiders with 17 points.
