Fall Sports Wrap-Up: Swimming

In the past few years the behavior of fans at sporting events has gotten increasingly offensive, and alcohol is the biggest cause. Professional stadiums should take greater steps to regulate alcohol consumption during games and fans should realize the message that their actions are sending.

Lawsuit attacks birth control patch
Last week, a lawuit was filed in San Francisco blaming the Ortho Evra birth control patch for causing blood clots. Some say the patch is harmless, but a study released in September found that the risk of a serious blood clot doubled from the pill to the patch.
