Nursing moms seek privacy in cozy rooms throughout campus

The University of Kansas offers new moms the opportunity to either nurse or pump their breast milk in lactation stations throughout campus. The rooms offer electrical outlets for mothers using breast pumps and cozy chairs to enjoy. There are more than a half a dozen rooms available on campus for moms to use.

KJHK will get a new digital archive next fall to help preserve its music library. The storage system will cost around $32, 000. Student Senate passed a bill to secure $15,000 in funding from the Senate reserve account. Programming will improve with the addition of a searchable database.
