KU bus routes will be altered Thursday because of street resurfacing on Mississippi Street and Sunflower Road. Buses will return to normal routes on Friday.
The resurfacing was scheduled for June 29, but was rescheduled because of inclement weather.
Beginning Thursday afternoon, the Park and Ride express bus will run up Naismith Drive and continue east on Jayhawk Boulevard. The bus will then go north to 11th Street and then return south on Indiana to Jayhawk Boulevard. The bus will then complete the rest of the normal route. Also that afternoon, Park and Ride will not have service on Sunnyside Avenue.
