KU student Kalen Siebert was released from Saint Luke’s Hospital after sustaining injuries from a car accident near 23rd and Iowa streets early Sunday morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
A witness told police Siebert was traveling south on Iowa Street and lost control while attempting to make a right turn onto 23rd Street. The car crashed into a wall at the southwest corner of the intersection at a speed of about 40 mph, according to the witness in the police report.
