STILLWATER, Okla. — Kansas coach Bill Self has a lot of fond memories at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Today was not one of them as the No. 4 Jayhawks (24-3, 9-4) lost to the Oklahoma State Cowboys (14-12, 5-7) 61-60.
Self, who spent 11 years at Oklahoma State as a coach and player, said his team "stunk" in the defeat. Kansas played sloppy all day and committed 21 turnovers and 24 personal fouls.
Oklahoma State junior guard Byron Eaton scored 26 points on 16-for-18 free-throw shooting.
Kansas, which has lost three of its last four road games, plays again Wednesday at Iowa State. Check Monday's Kansan for full coverage of today's game.
