Fans across the country will have no problem keeping up with Kansas’ national title defense next season.

The Jayhawks’ schedule, which the athletics department released Thursday, features 24 nationally televised games. The other seven will be aired locally.

“Kansas has always received great television exposure,” Kansas coach Bill Self said in a statement. “But certainly after winning the NCAA title last year, it gives us a chance for even more.”

The Jayhawks will play a non-conference schedule that includes seven teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season. Highlights of the non-conference schedule include a December 23rd trip to Arizona, a January 3rd home game against Tennessee and January 10th road game at Michigan State.

Kansas will also compete in the CBE Classic, a four-team tournament held in Kansas City, to open the season. Florida, Syracuse and Washington will also participate in the CBE.

“Our road schedule, with Arizona and Michigan State and the CBE Classic, makes this about as high-profile a schedule as anyone plays,” Self said. “It will be a great test for one of the youngest teams in the country.”

The conference slate isn’t any easier. Kansas opens its Big 12 schedule January 13th against Kansas State. The Jayhawks’ last game of the regular season will come March 7th when Texas visits Allen Fieldhouse.

Included in the conference schedule are four games that will be part of ESPN’s Big Monday. The full schedule is listed below.
