Clinton to concede tonight, end presidential bid

The Associated Press reported that campaign officials said Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama secured enough delegates to claim the Democratic presidential nomination, ending her presidential bid.

No other news organizations have reported Clintons concession because the AP’s reported is based off numbers from their delegate count, which includes 15 superdelegates who have confirmed their intentions to select Obama exclusively to the AP. The AP also included an assumed 30 percent of the total delegates from voters in South Dakota and Montana, which vote later tonight.

Both candidates plan to speak later tonight after the results of the last two primaries are reported.
