KANSAS 109, TEXAS TECH 51
Senior guard Jeremy Case just might have made his senior night the most memorable evening of his life.
Case, who is the oldest current Jayhawk and only remaining Roy Williams recruit, scored nine points by hitting three three-point shots in the middle of the second half.
Case wasn’t the only Jayhawk demoralizing the Red Raiders in a 109-51 victory. Freshman center Cole Aldrich recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Every senior scored at least once, including walk-on Brad Witherspoon, who made two free-throws with 3:59 remaining.

It may be senior night at Allen Fieldhouse but it’s the underclassmen who are making the plays.

Kansas leads Texas Tech 51-26 at halftime behind a strong performance from sophomore point guard Sherron Collins.
Collins, who only a week ago was nursing a bruised knee, continued to show the Jayhawk faithful that he was cured by penetrating the lane and scoring seven points and setting the tone for a Kansas takeover.
A not-so-likely big man also added to the points barrage in the first half – freshman Cole Aldrich. His biggest play came on a monstrous dunk with 5:54 remaining. Aldrich has scored a total of five points and pulled down three rebounds.
The Red Raiders were able to stick around for the first ten minutes of the game behind strong performances from senior guard Martin Zeno and junior guard Alan Voskuil.
But then the Jayhawks pieced together a 29-8 that started with two points from sophomore forward Darrell Arthur down low and was capped off by a deflating three-pointer by senior guard Russell Robinson. The New York native caught fire late in the first half and has scored seven points and dished out three assists.
It could be a long night for the Red Raiders, who are only shooting 28%. On the last play of the first half, junior guard Mario Chalmers lobbed a pass behind his head that Arthur threw down for an alley-oop. Arthur and Chalmers entered the locker room snickering from the absurdness of the highlight play.
Chalmers leads all scorers with eight points and has added two assists and two rebounds.
