KANSAS 30, NEBRASKA 26
The Jayhawks have several players in foul trouble but that hasn't stopped them from opening up a four-point halftime lead.
Senior forward Taylor McIntosh is leading the way with seven points and seven rebounds.
McIntosh, sophomore guard Danielle McCray, sophomore forward Porscha Weddington and freshman center Krysten Boogaard each have two fouls. Boogaard played just five minutes in the first half while McCray was held scoreless.
Kansas is 2-for-12 from beyond the arc but nearly every miss has gone half-way down the cylinder before popping back out.
Cornhusker forward Kelsey Griffin is leading all scorers with 14 points, getting six of those from the free throw line. Nebraska's performance at the free throw line has been the determining factor in the last two meetings, so it will be interesting to see how they shoot down the stretch. In Lincoln they were 30-of-32 but in Lawrence they were 17-of-34. Currently the Cornhuskers are 8-for-10 from the charity stripe.
Nebraska has turned the ball over just eight times but Kansas has maximized those mistakes and turned them into 18 points.
