Kansas Basketball vs. Davidson

The Jayhawks defeated the gritty 10th-seeded Davidson Wildcats 59-57 in the regional final this evening at Ford Field in Detroit.
Senior center Sasha Kaun exploded for 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field to lead Kansas to victory. Junior guard Mario Chalmers also scored 13, including three three-pointers in the first half that kept Davidson from gaining a big lead.
Davidson senior guard Jason Richards threw up a three-point shot at the buzzer but it clanked off of the bottom of the backboard to ensure the Jayhawk victory.
Kansas will play North Carolina Saturday in San Antonio and the winner will advance to the National Championship.
