—Covering news and sports events as a photojournalist?
—Writing music and film reviews for Jayplay?
The University Daily Kansan is now hiring entry-level staff members for the Fall 2008 semester. Applications are available in the Kansan newsroom (111 Stauffer-Flint) for designers, sports writers, Web producers, correspondents, columnists, editorial board writers, editorial cartoonists, photographers and Jayplay reviewers. Please complete and return all applications by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 8 or Friday, May 9 (check the specific application). Please also sign up for an interview time with section editors.
Anyone is invited to apply for any position, but the Kansan is especially interested in students with graphic design and Web design skills.
