What was the last movie you saw?
Brock: At home it was “Jaws”, but at the movies probably “Dark Knight”
Kara: “Dark Knight”
What music are you currently listening to?
Brock: Mars Volta, Explosions in the Sky and some Pearl Jam
Kara: A lot of Old Rock like Def Leppard and Metallica
Any hidden talents?
Brock: I’ve been a guitarist more than a runner. I’ve been playing for about 9 years now.
Kara: I can draw and paint pretty well.
Do you play any other sports?
Brock: I like playing baseball, but I’m not successful though.
Kara: I’m pretty good at tennis.
What would be your dream vacation?
Brock: One with lots of running. Some place in Europe.
Kara: Going to Italy
Sudoku or Crossword?
Brock: Uh neither.
Kara: Crossword
Any Pre-Race Rituals?
Brock: Just staying positive and staying loose. Also tell myself how fun this is.
Kara: Listening to my music and visualize.
Favorite NFL Team?
Brock: Carolina Panthers
Kara: Don’t have one.
Favorite KU Tradition?
Brock: The Rock Chalk Chant. I think it’s THE tradition
Kara: Going to KU Basketball games.
Favorite Quote?
Brock: Anything Kurt Vonnegut or George Carlin says
Kara: Can’t think of one.
