On Friday evening, Paul Flinders, senior painting major at KU from Wathena, set up studio at the DotDotDot Artspace, 1910 Haskell. He began what he calls "a twenty-four hour painting odyssey, titled Wet Dreams" that evening at 6 pm where he painted for 24 hours nonstop. During the time, Flinders managed to create 23 paintings, greet curious strangers, socialize with friends, and most importantly to him, have fun. Directly following the 24 hours, Flinders and friends hung the work on the white gallery walls for an opening reception. On Tuesday, Flinders held an artist talk. His work is for sale and will be up at the gallery until September 27th.
