The downtown Lawrence farmer's market is hosting a "soft open" this weekend.
Home-made chocolates and baked goods will be available at the market along with the traditional local and organic produce. Several meat vendors will also be in attendance with offering a variety of products including buffalo, elk and more traditional meats like pork.
The Lawrence Farmer's Market will be held in a public parking lot between 8th street and 9th street on New Hampshire.
