Tutu Lee says his goal was to steal Envision votes

After spending $4,000 on a campaign that began with a YouTube video, Tutu Lee, Manhattan senior, said it was no surprise to him that he lost. He said he didn’t run to win back his girlfriend, as he stated in the video, but instead to take away votes from the Envision campaign. Lee received 3 percent of the student vote, garnering him last place in the election.

Even as Lee criticized members of the incumbent coalition United Students and its established opposition coalitions, he said he enjoyed his run for president and enjoyed working with them.

Lee said that what he disliked most about the Envision coalition was the similarity between its and President Obama’s Web sites. He said he “pissed himself in ecstasy” when he heard the final results of the student election.

Tutu Lee is a jerk

I guarantee he said this just to irk people.

All things considered, I do not see this as a Nader situation.

A lot of the people that voted for Tutu would not have voted at all, had someone like him not shown up.

I think this attempt to stir the pot has failed.

what the heck did tutu lee spend 4K$ on? He got boned if he really spent that much for his pathetic video on youtube!

"Lee said [whatever crazy thing came to mind at the time]"

See how easy it is to do an interview with Tutu? You don't even have to talk to him, almost anything is plausible: "Lee said [you would be wiser if unschooled then be taught ONEness stupidity to worship Evil of ONEism, contradicted by Opposite Creation.]" "Lee said [why not make a movie about Zulu warriors starring James Hong?]" "Lee said [federal reserve notes are not backed by gold and silver and therefore cannot be income.]" "Lee said [I don't want any damn pills. I want a snack, Granny!]"

Tutu Lee just wants to make himself look significant in the course of this election process.

His only goal was to act like an ass in front of a thousand people or so.

Mission accomplished.

And if you thought you were clever in the KUJH debate, you're sorely mistaken. Bashing on platform issues without any sort of research just makes you look dumb.

Wow shasta, wow.

You probably think you're "enlightened" and above prejudice. Yet you have no problem stereotyping an entire county, an entire state for that matter. You're what I like to call a hypocrite.

^ This guy gets it!

Yours in self-gratifying awesomeness, Tutu Lee

OK, OK, I get it...this guy is funny - slightly. I've seen better. The only reason he's caused such an uproar is because the University of Kansas student body, as Mr. Lee no doubt realizes, is composed of 90% fratty Midwestern whites who have never encountered anything remotely shocking in their lifetimes. They aren't really scared about the guns in his video....they're SECRETLY terrified of that Rahul dude that inexplicably appears alongside him.

Lee Huaitu: PLEASE do something more productive with your time than rile the JoCo crowd... come on, WAY TOO EASY. Just forget about those people, study hard, and one day you too can flee the Midwest and live in a non-homogeneous society where no one but yourself even knows what a Jayhawk is.

I think the whole reason Tutu was even in this in the first place is because Tutu has a thing for May Davis. Tutu, she's way out of your league. Also, if he had won, the only thing he would have done to change the university would have been something stupid like having wednesdays become Tutu days where we would all walk around campus wearing tutus and call it Tutus for Tutu.........what a waste of kansan space; my computer still hates me for playing that stupid video on youtube. Tutu, stop wasting our time, I'm glad you will finally be out of the spotlight.

why are you guys being so mean to me?!?!?!?? :(

I am one among the 90%, not a hypocrite (^_^)/

Never said I was enlightened or above prejudice!! I'm just an observational comedian like Jon Stewart!!!!!! I mean.... it IS true that it's easy to rile the JoCo population- try painting your house in Hunter's Pointe pink! hehe. OK I LIVE IN HUNTER'S POINTE!! It's just a different culture! ::::taking a deep breath::::::::: Tutu Lee shocked me at first too, but then I asked myself "would this situation be shocking if it occurred on Seinfeld, in the heart of the 'Big Apple'" The answer is... "I guess not! Look at Kramer for Chris' sakes!" that's all I was tryin' to say! finally, about the whole Jayhawk thing - maybe I hit a sore spot there....but you took me out of context! I LOVE THE JAYHAWKS! I also love the Chiefs and Brett Favre, for that matter!

I'm sorry everybody! :/ But maybe if you had taken a second to notice that I named my username after a beloved symbol of Kansas culture - Shasta (as in Shasta Cola, Dr. Shasta, Diet Shasta, et. al), then you would realize that I LIKE the Midwest, I love myself and all of you crazy jayhawks!! and I love Tutu for his celebrity potential
