A mistake filled game filled with plenty of errors doomed Kansas (27-15, 8-8) as it fell 11-4 to Nebraska (19-21-1, 5-14) Friday night.
Kansas committed a season high 6 errors, it’s most since 2004. Junior shortstop David Narodowski had four errors. It certainly didn’t help that junior starter Shaeffer Hall didn’t have his best stuff, allowing 10 hits to go along with seven runs, albeit only two of them earned.
The Jayhawks stranded six runners on base and had two runner picked off. Senior catcher Buck Afenir and sophomore third baseman Tony Thompson struggled yet again, going 1-for-8 with two strikeouts.
