The Black Student Union elected its Executive Board members for the 2009-2010 school year last night. Jordan Brown, Bloomington, Ind., junior, was voted in as the new president.
“It feels good, but it’s going to feel better when I start seeing the progress the newly elected executive board makes,” Brown said.
As a part of his plan for the future of the BSU, Brown said he would promote an idea he called E.O.E. (Encouraging Ourselves and Each other).
“It will implement programing based on improving ourselves as college students and preparing for subsequent life,” Brown said.
Current BSU President Koga Moffor, Overland Park senior, will become the Facebook Liason. Moffor said she felt she would do a good job in her new position because she was expressive and good at communicating by e-mail.
