Career fair arrives "just in time"
George Patsourakos The University of Kansas Career Center was wise to host a recent career fair, because of the scarcity of jobs in our slumping economy. About 40 companies -- each with at least one job opening -- sent representatives to the University to take part in the job fair. The job fair was open to seniors seeking a permanent job after graduation, and to other students seeking a job for the summer. Hopefully, several of these companies will hire some of the students who attended the job fair.
