Fans will now be able to sit courtside for the 2009- 2010 men’s basketball season.
For $15,000 per seat, 40 of the top donors will have season tickets in seats previously occupied by media on press row, said athletic director Jim Marchiony.
The goal is to generate more revenue and increase the fan’s perspective of the game. It also puts Kansas in line with the other universities also selling these type of seats.
Most of the media will remain in their normal seats but Kansas administrators and NBA scouts will be on the move to a place yet to be determined.

I heard all the media aside from the play-by-play guys were being moved behind the baskets? It's sad, yet not the least bit surprising.
