A fire swept through a residential home today at the 1900th block of Clifton Court. Neighbors reported seeing flames coming out of the house shortly before noon. The cause of the fire is still unknown. One person suffered minor injuries in the fire and was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
“We heard a woman screaming inside, and saw a guy running around outside the house yelling to her,” Cremer said.
The fire department and an ambulance showed up within a few minutes. The woman was carried away from the house on a stretcher.
