Daniel S. Persons, Towanda freshman, died in a car accident Sunday near El Dorado.
Persons was a student in the School of Architecture and Urban Design and was the son of Steven and Pamela Persons.
“His curiosity about the world, combined with artistic talent, a strong work ethic and a congenial personality gave him unusual promise as an architecture student,” Michael M. Swann, associate dean of the school, said.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, 302 N. Denver St., El Dorado.
Donations can be sent in care of the Circle School Foundation, 905 E. Main, Towanda, for the Dan Persons Memorial Scholarship Fund.
