Texas Tech 84, Kansas 65
LUBBOCK, Texas — Red Raider fans have rushed the floor and began their celebration as Texas Tech stunned Kansas on its senior night.
Alan Voskuil led the Red Raiders with 35 points on a night where Kansas could do nothing right. The Jayhawks did, however, clinch the No. 1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament because of Missouri's victory against Oklahoma.
Check back to Kansan.com later for a full story from Lubbock.
Texas Tech 60, Kansas 54 with 8:00 remaining
Missouri beat Oklahoma so Kansas is assured at least a share of the Big 12 Conference title.
That’s about the only thing that’s gone right for Kansas tonight. The Jayhawks trail the Red Raiders 60-54 at United Spirit Arena.
Alan Voskuil has continued to scorch the Jayhawks and now has 24 points. Mike Singletary has 13 points.
Kansas momentarily cut the Texas Tech lead to two points at 41-39, but has been thoroughly out-played since then. In addition, Kansas coach Bill Self and Marcus Morris have both received technical fouls.
The technical has ruined an otherwise stellar night from Marcus, who has 11 points and seven rebounds.

LUBBOCK, Texas —
Texas Tech 39, Kansas 28 at halftime
Well, Kansas made a run, but it probably should have been bigger.
The Jayhawks held the Red Raiders scoreless for the final four and a half minutes of the first half, but could only add seven of their own points.
Tyrel Reed hit a three-point shot and Travis Releford added two buckets to cut the Red Raider lead from 39-21 to 39-28. Certainly, that’s a daunting margin to recover from in a Big 12 Conference road game — no matter how poorly the home team has held on to leads all year long.
Kansas has some aspects working to its favor. The Jayhawks played without Cole Aldrich for most of the first half, who got into early foul trouble with two hacks.
Kansas will look for Aldrich early in the second half. Voskuil still leads all scorers with 16 points.
Texas Tech 34, Kansas 20 with 5:39 remaining in the first half.
This does not look good. For the Jayhawks, this looks terrible.
Kansas trails Texas Tech 34-20 at the United Spirit Arena. Kansas has played flat and looks uninspired on both ends of the court.
Sophomore guard Brady Morningstar’s defensive effort on Texas Tech’s Alan Voskuil has been a failure. Voskuil has 14 points off of four three-point shots.
Meanwhile, Texas Tech’s defense is bothering Kansas. The Jayhawks can’t seem to get into a rhythm and are shooting barely above 30 percent from the field.
Of course, it was worse a few minutes ago. Kansas trailed 34-17, its biggest deficit of the game, before Sherron Collins and Mario Little combined to make three of four free throws.
Check back for a halftime update.
Texas Tech 21, Kansas 10 with 12:30 remaining
LUBBOCK, Texas — Kansas coach Bill Self is yelling a lot on the sideline at United Spirit Arena.
And he has a reason to be. Texas Tech has stormed out to a 21-10 lead early behind three three-pointers by senior Alan Voskuil. Meanwhile, Kansas has looked sluggish offensively.
Freshman guard Travis Releford just committed a turnover on a weak attempt for an entry pass to Cole Aldrich, Sherron Collins isn’t in control of the game and Marcus Morris has missed two shots.
