Kansas earned a No. 3 seed and will play 14-seeded North Dakota State in Minneapolis, Minn., at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
"I thought we got what we deserved," Kansas coach Bill Self said. "I don't think we were done any favors with the bracket that we have, but I'm not displeased at all."
The Bison (26-6) hit 41.2 percent behind the three-point line, which ranks fifth in the nation.
"We going to have to get out and pressure them and try to take them out of their comfort zone," junior guard Sherron Collins said.
Should the Jayhawks prevail, they will play the winner of West Virginia vs. Dayton.
Six Big 12 teams earned NCAA tournament bids. Besides Kansas, Missouri (No. 3 in West), Oklahoma (No. 2 in South), Oklahoma State (No. 8 in East), Texas (No. 7 in East) and Texas A&M (No. 9 in West) all qualified for the tourney.

Men's basketball to play North Dakota State
I agree with Coach - no favors, but as good as we deserve. Bison (with a capital 'B') are capable of a Cindarella run to S16 or better, so 'Hawks need to arrive in Mini-soda with our game shoes on. I think NDSt could have been .500 or close with a Big12 schedule (like Neb/Baylor). Their experience (four 5-yr players) reminds me of UMass. L'vil, MiSt, WVa, WF are all legitimate F4 possibilities, so the MW region won't be anyone's cakewalk.
ROCK CHALK! GO 'HAWKS!

Lets hope our good team shows up. Don't disappoint us guys...Kansas fans are harsh!
Men's basketball to play North Dakota State
The Bison from NDSU will not be easy. Their offensive game is primarily perimeter shooting They are in the top 5 nationally in FG percentage and are 5th in the nation in 3-point shots and also 14th in assists to turnover ratio. They take care of the ball. Jayhawk defense is 129th against the 3-pointer. NDSU is weak inside and if the ref's let the inside game get rough, the Bison won't have a prayer. If they're calling fouls inside, look out.
