The declining economy has caused local not for profit organizations to see a decrease in donations.
As non-profit organizations see their donations decline amid the economic crisis, local charities are struggling to keep up with the demand for their services. Non-profit members encourage people to donate their time, even if they can't donate money. KUJH-TV reporter Whitney Bruce examines the trend toward lower donations at St. Jude Children's Hospital and Boys and Girls Club.
