A University student suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at a costume party late Saturday, according to Lawrence police.
Lawrence Police Sgt. Bill Cory said the 20-year-old student was attending a party at a residence near 13th and Ohio streets when he became involved in an incident with another man about 11 p.m. The suspect attacked the victim with a knife, causing a laceration to the student’s arm. The victim was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by friends, where he received medical attention for his injury.
The suspect had not been apprehended as of Sunday afternoon.
