Brian Sears is a local DJ. See him Nov. 28 at the Eighth Street Taproom, 801 New Hampshire St.
Lawrence senior, American studies
Liney Pugh
Ashburn, Va., senior, English literature
What's the best experience you've had on the dance floor?
Sears: Best experience on the dance floor is not being on the dance floor and instead being behind the decks and making the crowd move. There is no better feeling than knowing you have tricks up your sleeve and also knowing the crowd is in for something special.
Pugh: I used to love going to ’80s night at The Bottleneck. It was fun to dance to stupid ’80s songs and not worry about what anybody thought.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
Sears: Ask Joyce Williams. Her song, “The First Thing I Do in the Morning,” explains it.
Pugh: I take my vitamin with a full glass of water, as instructed on the pill container.
When was the last time you laughed? What was it about?
Sears: My friends just showed me the “cake farts” video.
Pugh: I just watched an episode of The Office and Meredith wanted to make sure no one made fun of her for having slept with a terrorist.
If you could rule humanity, what would you make everyone do first?
Sears: Pass. I’d rather not rule humanity.
Pugh: I would make everyone listen to Abbey Road the whole way through.
What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
Sears: Better yet, what wouldn’t I do for a Klondike bar?
Pugh: Christopher Walken.
