Rose Garden Apartments fire
A fire broke out at 3 yesterday afternoon in Rose Garden Apartments located on 1700 W. Fifth St. Fortunately, no residents were injured. Fire caused moderate damages to the building, estimate loss and cause not determined.
A fire was reported at 4:06 p.m. Sunday on the corner of Fifth and Wisconsin streets.
The fire broke out at a four-unit, two-story apartment building.
According to Capt. Pat Karlin, the structural fire heavily damaged two of the units. The building has been blocked off by yellow tape and Karlin said the cause of the fire was still under investigation. He said investigators had deemed the building inhabitable.
No one was reported injured.
