Rivals.com reported Tuesday that Kansas offered Highlands Ranch, Colo. quarterback Brock Berglund a scholarship.
Berglund reportedly already has offers from Minnesota, Utah and Colorado State.
A 6-foot-4, 205 pound dual-threat quarterback according to Rivals, Berglund passed for 2,221 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior.
“I know they have a great program,” Berlund told Rivals. “I know they have a new head coach who played quarterback in college, and I hear he’s a great guy and a guy I really want to talk to and really get to know.”
On Monday, Rivals reported that Kansas offered North Miami Beach linebacker Keeon Virgile a scholarship. The offer was reportedly Virgile’s first.
The 6-foot-2, 210 pound linebacker recorded 89 tackles and 11 sacks as a junior, according to Rivals.
Rivals previously reported that coach Turner Gill and his staff were the first to offer Keith Lewis and Javess Blue, two Florida-based prospects in the class of 2011.
Lewis is listed as a linebacker while Blue is a wide receiver.
