Kansas Football vs. Nebraska
Kansas traveled to Lincoln Saturday to face Nebraska in their last conference match-up. Coach Turner Gill made his return after coaching and playing for the Cornhuskers, however the Jayhawks dropped their seventh game of the season, losing 20-3.
We're 11 minutes from kickoff in the final game between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The two teams have met for a record 105 consecutive times, beginning in 1906.
The last time Kansas beat Nebraska in Lincoln was in 1968.
1st QUARTER
After a huge return by D.J. Beshears to start the game, Kansas goes for it on 4th and 6th at Nebraska's 36 yard line and Mecham is sacked for a loss of six yards. Turnover on downs.
