Kristen High of the KU women’s cycling team pushes to catch the rider in front of her during the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships criterium race Sunday morning. High finished the race in 42nd place in a time of 59:49.8.

Jason Knight of the KU cycling team pushes uphill during the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships at Perry Lake Saturday afternoon. Knight finished the race in 38th place in a time of 3:47:25. The other two KU riders, Jeff Schroeder and John Giles, suffered flat tires during the race. Giles finished in 80th place and Schroeder was unable to finish the race.

KU cyclist Christian Beer rounds a curve during the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships criterium race in downtown Lawrence Sunday morning. Beer finished the race in 85th place with a time of 1:13:07.5. The figure-eight track featured eight 90-degree turns. The race attracted a large crowd downtown.
