Mark Perry, Kingwood, Texas graduate student, oversees Alpha 1 battalion at Adams Campus Challenge Course on Sunday. The objective of the obstacle was to get everyone over the wall with a minimal amount of help from other cadets. Techniques included tying jacket arms together to use as a rope or lacing belts together to pull cadets up and over the wall. KU Navy ROTC held the training to improve the leadership and teamwork skills.

"So many people have misconceptions about Kansas because of what they have seen in movies," said Jason Fizell, executive director of the Kansas Land Trust. The book provides photos and facts about the local landscapes from Lawrence locals.

The patent is currently pending for the dishwasher safe shower chair.

Palmer, the president of the fraternity, says that since they have no house on campus they have fraternity meetings in the alcoves at the union.
