Lott has been creating puppets since he was 11 years old. To see puppets made from all sorts of recycled parts such as the one above, be sure to attend "The King Stag," September 27-28, at Murphy Hall.

The curtains are actually a puppet; the operator is concealed behind the cloth. This puppet requires three people in total to move it successfully.

Lott works with a student on the stage to make sure that the "Old Woman" puppet will move just right for her. He said that he has spent a lot of time on the puppets for the play; however, the stage set was designed by another group of theater students.

Along with working on the mechanical aspects of the car, the team also applied a custom paint job to the Volkswagen. Lou Mckown, Vice President of the project, said that the main goals of the team's work were to make the car sustainable, allow it to be fueled by locally made bio-diesel and ethonol, and also to maxamize the miles per gallon rating of the automobile. Strunk and Brian Pike, Winfield senior, discover a new feature on the vehicle — a moonroof. Strunk and Pike along with the rest of the engineering team will work on Wednesday and Friday afternoon's throughtout this school year to complete the project.
