Karin Scott, left, a senior from Dallas, Renee Boyd, center, a senior from Wichita, and Lydia Gibson, a senior from Prairie Village, sort through campus trash as part of an environmental studies senior project to see how much of the "waste" could have actually been recycled. Boyd has overcome the initial unease of sorting through others' trash. "I was afraid I'd find puke," Boyd said. Various odds and ends such as aluminum water bottles were among items found.
