For all you math whizzes out there, April is National Math Awareness Month. In appreciation of math awareness, the University of Kansas recently held a workshop for a group of elementary students. The workshop focused on the relationship between mathematics and voting. KJHK reporter Emily Soetaert spoke with the workshop's coordinator to talk about the many opportunities available through an appreciation of mathematics.
