In 2007, the video gaming industry saw a total revenue of almost $18 billion dollars. One of the games released during the record-setting year was Rock Band, a game which replaces typical controllers with guitars, a microphone and even a drum set. Rock Band has left KJHK contributor Tom Atchity amazed, not at the game's ability to generate revenue, but at its ability to bring people together.
