Heather Desaire, associate professor of chemistry at the University of Kansas, leads a team of KU researchers who are cooperating with other universities to find an HIV vaccine. She tells KJHK’s Hayley Shanks how they are working toward this monumental goal and how a vaccine could help third world countries.
