Gordy Hoffman suffers what you might call the curse of a famous sibling. It’s tough to outshine a Hollywood talent as celebrated as his younger brother, Philip Seymour Hoffman, but the elder Hoffman has a presence of his own. His script for Love Liza took home the award for best screenwriting at the Sundance film festival, and now he’s working on another screenplay. On Wednesday, October 20, he’s coming to KU for a table reading of “The Black Friday Script.” KJHK's Daren Dunn brings us more.
