Ending prohibition is something that liberals and conservatives alike can agree with.

For conservatives, it means government getting the hell out of their lives. No more pesky regulations getting in the way of individuals doing as they please in the land of the free.

For liberals it means a big f-u to big business. Big Oil is terrified of industrial hemp's capacity to put them out of business forever. Big Pharma is terrified of cannabis's medical uses which include, but are not limited to cancer treatment, pain relief, and slowing the spread of Alzheimer's Disease.
