Alex Garrison is a senior from Kansas City, Kan., majoring in journalism and minoring in Arabic and Islamic studies. This is her eighth semester contributing to The Kansan, having been correspondent editor, crime and general assignment reporter, Jayplay editor, senior reporter and editor-in-chief once in the past. She loves music, stand-up comedy and tea and hopes to be a foreign correspondent when she grows up.
