Ashleigh is a sophomore from Wichita double tracking in journalism news and info and strategic communications with a minor in English. This is her third semester on staff as a photographer. After college Ashleigh hopes to get a job in photojournalism emphasizing in sports photography. In her free time Ashleigh enjoys watching basketball, going to concerts and reading.

Rain barrels decorated by various groups around the Lawrence community were on display Monday evening in the Kansas Union Ballroom at the KU Environs' panel. The barrels were donated by Coca-Cola in Lenexa, who also encouraged recycling and reducing water usage within their plant.

Holi is a Hindi holiday that celebrates the end of winter and the beginning of spring. "It's a fun holiday," said Parkh. "It brings the community together and even when you don't know someone, it's appropriate to slap come colors on them."
