Ben Cohen is a junior from Topeka, majoring in political science. He graduated in 2005 from Washburn Rural High School, where he'd been a writer for the "Blue Streak", the school's bimonthly paper. Since coming to KU, he has been a member of the Opinion staff since his sophomore year. Ben typically writes about national politics, but occasionally mixes it up by writing about... state politics. Or other things he enjoys complaining about, really. He is also involved in Student Senate, and is either a member of or somehow connected to approximately 53% of student organizations at KU.
