Christian Lucero is a Farmington, N.M., junior majoring in journalism. He is a transfer from Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kan., where he was the editor in chief for the 2008 spring semester. Christian hopes to have a sports column for a major national sports magazine and lists Rick Reilly and Mitch Albom as his inspirations. He also plays club baseball for KU.
